The Bills take over the Lions den by moving the Browns game to Ford Field

Due to heavy snow in Buffalo, the Bills will host the Cleveland Browns at Ford Field in Detroit on Sunday.

This week, there was a weather forecast predicting that Buffalo would be hit by a massive lake-shaped snow event, bringing three to six feet of snow to the area. As of Wednesday, November 16, the game was to continue as scheduled at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. There is now an update for the state of the game.

On Thursday, the Bills issued a statement announcing that their game against the Cleveland Browns would be moved from Highmark Stadium to Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan, home of the Lions.

The game is still scheduled for 1:00 PM ET, and will be broadcast on CBS.

The Lions will not be using Ford Field on Sunday, as they will be on the road to take on the New York Giants in East Rutherford, NJ. This is why the move was made to move Bills vs. Browns to the spot. That, and it has a roof.

This will also be the first of two games the Bills will play in Detroit. After the game on Sunday, they play the Lions at Ford Stadium on Thanksgiving.

Speaking of lions, their official Twitter account laid out the ground rules for the bills, telling them where important phone numbers are, and urging them not to “break tables.”

According to forecasts by AccuweatherOrchard Park is expected to receive a total of three to four feet of snow.

The Bills are looking to end their two-game losing streak with a win over the Browns. Meanwhile, Cleveland is chasing its fourth win of the season.
